I've been taunted by the crazy art displays at the Old Truman Brewery for weeks now but never had the energy to cross the street and check it out -- until yesterday!
Free Range is going on until 25th July and it features a wide array of photography, mixed media-art, fashion and more . The displays are always changing so I think I may have to regularly pop in on my lunch break and lurk around.

Pleasure Principle T-Shirt, SOD__Project

I came across these bowls by French product designer Guillaume Lehoux the other day and they are positively stunning. Not exactly useful but they are works of art.

"This experience seemed interesting to me for the visual and graphic aspects of its results. The webs produce by spiders offer something rare: a tangible and comparable visualization of the way some drugs affect the behavior of a living being.
My designer reflection focused on one side on how to reinvest the patterns of the webs of the experiment in one or more objects in volume and on the other side, the reflection was on the search for a typology of objects relevant to the environment of the experiment, namely the science/medicine, the drugs and the spiders."
