George the Cunt and Gilbert the Shit




I bought the above postcard from the Whitechapel Gallery when I was in London last spring and it's been one of my favourite works of art since.

    Thanks for posting this! My husband and I dressed up as Gilbert & George for Hallowe'en 2008 after seeing the exhibit at the De Younge in San Francisco. We used this exact picture for our inspiration - right down to the the lettering on the front.
