Here's a tip, don't go shopping with painful shoes on because you will end up buying new ones.

I wouldn't even touch anything if it was gold for the longest time but recently I've warmed up to the idea of it. I got dragged to Topshop yesterday and my plan to not shop anymore was foiled when I found these amazing buckle boots and golden cuffs (I was lurking the Hermès website the day before so it was perfect timing)! I think the more simple my wardrobe is getting the more big statement jewellery I'm wearing which isn't a bad thing, it's a nice change.

I think these photos accurately depict how cold, rainy and windy it's been today. I honestly can't believe this is July weather because if I was back in Toronto I'd be half naked in my living room lying in front of a fan.

Completely off-topic but on my way to the pub yesterday I had my first encounter with the lovely stinging nettle thanks to some jerk who didn't prune their front yard. I'm never going outside or near nature again because it hurt like a son of a bitch.
